Mount Joy Walking Challenge | Markham, ON
Program Results and Infographic, 2019

Project summary: challenge campaign to help increase the number of people walking to the Mount Joy GO commuter rail station outside Toronto, Ontario.

Personal contribution: provided the survey analysis support and recommendations for prioritization of amenities that were most likely to improve walkability to the station and co-authored the final summary deliverable provided to Metrolinx.

Georgia Commute Options | Atlanta, GA
Transportation Management Association, 2018 to 2020

Project summary: ongoing program that strives to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles and improve air quality in Metro Atlanta through employer and commuter services.

Personal contribution: Led survey programming, analysis, and summarization of over 10,000 survey respondents annually. Provision of GIS analysis, analysis of environmental impacts, and report-quality maps to help inform programmatic recommendations for teleworking, carpool formation, and first-last-mile solutions. Coordinated final deliverables and work with the project manager to ensure the adequate presentation of survey findings. Liaised with Worksite Advisors to problem-solve solutions to achieve employer trip reduction goals.

Station Area Master Planning | Denver, CO
Outreach, Communications, and Recommendations, 2017

Project summary: Station area master plan for two light rail stations in Denver, CO.

Personal contribution: Assisted in community outreach and public meeting facilitation. Designed feedback instrument for public input including coding survey responses to inform planning decisions. Hosted “reaching out” events at principal locations in the study area, presented to RNOs during the public input phase of the plan. Helped facilitate public meetings, PMT Meetings, and Stakeholder Meetings. Advised on active transportation planning best practices for proposed bicycle and pedestrian improvements to Buchtel Blvd and intersections surrounding the University of Denver.

Monterey Mobility Score | Monterey, CA
TDM Strategy One-pagers, 2019 to 2020

Project summary: virtual survey for employers in Monterey which produced custom sets of TDM strategy one-pagers based on the highest trip reduction potential for each respondent’s use-case.

Personal contribution: authored the definitions and implementation instructions, researched all pertinent case studies the 51 identified TDM strategies. Aided in the design of the final deliverables.

RTD First and Last Mile Strategic Plan | Denver, CO
Transportation Planning Process, 2019

Project summary: a planning process in the Denver area to define strategies and policies that will improve multimodal transportation and connectivity to Regional Transportation District (RTD) services and facilities by making them more accessible to more people.

Personal contribution: performed extensive existing conditions research across all 15 typological station areas, distilled existing conditions to inform toolkit recommendations for each typology, coauthored report recommendations, and collaborated on report design and flow.

H-GAC Telework Market Analysis | Houston, TX
Client Report, 2021

Project summary: Market analysis and report prepared for the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) to identify employers in the region who would be most apt to receive telework assistance.

Personal contribution: Completed market analysis using data from the following sources: Census Household Pulse survey, H-GAC Employer Survey, Census Transportation Planning Package (CTPP), OnTheMap, and NAICS industry sector classifications. Identified characteristics that may make an employer more interested in telework services, rationalized the process and authored narrative, and developed a priority framework with business contact information.

Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to Visualize Active Transportation Improvements
2015 to 2018

Project summary: Visuals created for a campaign illustrate facility improvements and alternatives along two corridors in Denver, CO. The Photoshop rendering shows what different configurations might look like in practice and the plan-view shows the layout, striping requirements, and parking removals necessary for improvements.

Personal contribution: Completed site assessments, analyses of constraints, and produced symbology for recommendations that follow NACTO best practices.

Developer TDM Plan | Santa Monica, CA
Transportation Deman Management Plan for Multi-Family Development
2021

Project summary: Plan report to outline, identify, manage, and budget for infrastructure and programmatic requirements of the Santa Monica trip reduction ordinance.

Personal contribution: Completed site visits, GIS analysis, parking elasticity, and parking fair market value study to develop recommendations for the final deliverable. Developed outreach plans to promote transportation alternatives available to building tenants. Completed policy analysis and interviews with non-profit partners. Provided zoning code-informed parking reduction recommendations during the development phase. Application of local zoning ordinance to ensure carshare implementation and the development’s proximity to high-frequency transit was leveraged.
